Which hat suits you?

Below is some advice of the types of hat shapes which suit different face shapes, however there is no hard and fast rules because it depends on the colour of the hat, length and colour of your hair and what you intend to wear with it.
Anyone can wear a hat!

You only have to become familiar with your face shape and what hat shape suits you.

1: Oval
Almost any hat can be worn.
Wear them straight across the brow or hairline.
Watch out that the crown is never narrower than your cheekbones (this applies to everyone)

2: Round
Avoid ‘flower pot’ Hats
Brims should be worn on n angle, not straight
Asymmetrical lines are very flattering

3: Triangle
Same rules apply to triangular faces as oval faces. Almost any hat can be worn.

4: Square
Slant the brim of your hat
Wear hats with asymmetrical shapes
Try to wear earrings when wearing hats

5: Oblong
Avoid narrow and tall hats
Brims are very flattering

What colours I should chose with my outfit?

The colour of the outfit with which the hat must be considered.

If the hat matches the colour of the outfit exactly it is important to introduce at least one other colour into the outfit.

If the hat is to be a contrasting colour it must be a colour that compliments the outfit.
